Carbamates of the formula <IMAGE> where either R1 is straight-chain or branched alkyl of not more than 4 carbon atoms and R2 is straight-chain or branched alkyl of not more than 6 carbon atoms, or R1 and R2, together with the molecular moiety which they include, form a 5-membered, 6-membered or 7-membered heterocyclic ring, R3 is straight-chain or branched alkyl of not more than 6 carbon atoms or cycloalkyl of 3 to 6 carbon atoms, R4 is methyl or methoxy, and n is 1 or 2, their preparation and their use as insecticides.
