PURPOSE:To judge abnormal measurement, by obtaining the inclination of a potential difference with respect to time in a section, where the potential difference is ideally constant, during the measurement of the potential difference, which is yielded between an ion electrode and a reference electrode. CONSTITUTION:An ion electrode 4 and a reference electrode 5 are immersed in a measuring liquid 2, in which a specified material to be measured is dissolved. A potentiometer 6 is operated at time points t1 and t2 based on the command from a control device 7. Then, the signals indicating the potential difference between the two electrodes are sent to the control device 7 and a display device 9 through an AD converter 8a from the potentiometer. The control device obtains the difference between the potential difference signal obtained at the time point t1 and the potential difference signal obtained at the time point t2. When the difference is larger than the reference value, which is set by making the peculiar minute abnormality of the apparatus to be an allowance quantity beforehand, the measurement is judged as erroneous measurement. A signal is sent to the display device 9, and the fact that the displayed measured value is the abnormal value is displayed. |
