PURPOSE:To miniaturize a vibration preventing support device, by disposing a ball-screw in a large-inertia rotor to shorten the axial length of the device, and as well by providing such an arrangement that no large force is exerted to the ball-screw and a thrust bearing. CONSTITUTION:A rod 1 slidably journalled to the inside of a casing 2 has a small diameter section formed in its middle section thereof with a ball thread section 4, and a cup-like large diameter part formed therein a threaded section 11. A large inertia rotor 3 which is disposed in a hollow section in the casing 2, has a cylindrical cup section 3a in its center section, and a thread 10 formed in the outer peripheral surface thereof is meshed with a thread 11 formed in the rod 10. Further, a ball-nut 5 which is threadedly engaged with a ball-screw section 4 in the rod 1 through balls is coupled to the inner surface of the cup section 3a by means of a key 13. A thrust bearing 20 and a brake 18 are disposed between the large inertia rotor 3 and the casing 2. |
