摘要 PURPOSE:To aim at improvements in heating efficiency instead of makig a suction heating device exert any adverse effect on charging efficiency, by installing a valve, which opens only in time of high load, in an auxiliary suction passage having an equivalent pipe length identical with that of a main suction passage as well as installing the suction heating device in the main suction passage. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary suction passage 16, which is branched to a main suction passage 12 interconnected to an air cleaner 9 and interconnected to the main suction passage 12 via a surge tank 14 at its one end and a control valve 19 at the other end, is installed, and an equivalent pipe length between these main and auxiliary suction passages 12 and 16 is equalized in size. In time of low load, since suction air passes the main suction passage 12 alone, heating efficiency in time of starting, etc., is improved so better, while in time of high load, a solenoid suction pressure selector valve 33 is set in motion, thus the control valve 19 opens. With this constitution, owing to these main and auxiliary suction passages 12 and 16, charging efficiency is improved and, what is more, suction resistance in the suction heating device is thus negligible.
