A drill-plough equipped with a frame and hoeing shares arranged to move in an upright frame in share- holders. In a known similar machine, the depth of penetration of the hoeing shares into the ground cannot be kept constant, this being due to the fact that the angle of attack of the cutting surfaces of the hoeing shares alters as soon as the share-holders carry out the slightest pivoting movement. Further, the known drill-plough can only be used to sow well-prepared fields. To overcome these drawbacks, the present invention provides a drill-plough which prevents the hoeing shares and their holders from being damaged by striking obstacles in the ground, in such a manner that the shares rapidly penetrate into the ground even in soil not prepared for seeding, while the shares maintain their depth of penetration. Accordingly, each hoeing share is arranged in a parallel guide, the parallel guide comprising at least one hinge pivot acting in an upright plane. A stop limits the forward pivoting movement of the hoeing share about the pivot, and at least one resilient element applies force to the hoeing share in a direction of the stop. A guide roller is provided for each hoeing share to limit a depth of penetration of the share into the ground.
