PURPOSE:To protect corrosion by a method wherein a coating layer consisting of organic silicon polymer, organic compound of titanium and inorganic filler is provided on the surfaces of metallic heat transfer members of a main heat exchange part and a latent heat recovery heat exchange part in a heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:A coating layer consisting of organic silicon polymer, the major component of which is polyborosiloxane, organic compound of titanium and inorganic filler, is provided on the surfaces of metallic heat transfer members 6 consisting of heat absorbing fins and water pipe in a main heat exchange part A and a latent heat recovery heat exchange part B. In addition, a coating layer 8 consisting of organic resin binder, is further formed in the latent heat recovery heat exchange part B. Thus, the corrosion of the heat transfer members is eliminated and the improvement of the durability as a heat exchanger is resulted. |
