PURPOSE:To sterilize a valve system by injecting liquid chemicals into a liquid sump formed with the inner wall of casing and valve when the valve is at the closed position. CONSTITUTION:Under closed state of valve, the fluid through-hole 3a in ball valve body 3 and annular space 6 between said valve body 3 and casing 1 will become liquid sumps. At the position of said liquid sump, liquid chemicals injection port 7 and air-bleeder 8 are provided respectively at the lower and upper sides. Under closed state of valve, liquid chemicals are fed from liquid chemical tank 11 through a pipe 10, coupling member 9 and liquid chemicals injection port 7 into said sumps to perform sterilization, cleaning and prevention of counter contamination. |
