PURPOSE:To surely prevent intrusion of water into a brake by forming both drain holes and splash raking blades onto a cover plate that covers the peripheral surface of a brake drum. CONSTITUTION:Both drain holes 18 and splash raking blades 19 are formed onto a cover plate 17, which covers the peripheral surface of a brake drum 9, so that water intruded into the space between the brake drum 9 and the cover plate 17 can be discharged (to the outside) by means of both the splash raking blades 19 and the drain holes 18. With this contrivance, even if water intrudes into a space between the peripheral surface of the brake drum 9 and the cover plate 17, this water is forcibly discharged. Thus, intrusion of water into a brake 8 can be prevented in a surer manner. |
