PURPOSE:To reduce the residual stress and improve dimension accuracy by cutting-out a stay vane from a steel-plate material, keeping the final sectinal form of vane, thus obviating the necessity of bending work. CONSTITUTION:The stay vane 1 of a stay ring used for the hydraulic machinery such as waterwheel is blanking-prepared. Said blanking is carried-out by adjusting the vane-height direction of the stay vane 1 in the direction Z of plate thickness of steel-plate material 5, and cutting-work is performed with the final sectional form of the stay vane 1, and the stay vane 1 is formed. Therefore, the necessity of bending work which generates residual stress is obviated. It is the same when the vane-height direction of the stay vane 1 is adjusted in the direction of rolling or the plate width of the steel-plate material 5. |
