PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a driving circuit by generating a driving pulse when a tracking error signal exceeds a fixed range, and driving a feeding DC motor for moving a recording medium in its radius direction by comparator circuits. CONSTITUTION:A tracking error signal is supplied to an input terminal 1, and comparators 13, 14 detect positive and negative threshold voltages respectively. The outputs of the comparators 13, 14 are supplied to a motor driving circuit 17 through a control circuit 15 and the feeding DC motor 9 for moving the recording medium in its radius direction is driven. A signal for controlling a feeding speed is inputted to a control input terminal 18 and signals for controlling the feeding direction and its stop are inputted to control terminals 19, 20 respectively. A driving voltage control circuit 16 controls the constant voltage terminal of the circuit 17 in accordance with the state of the terminal 18 and switches the motor driving voltages for normal reproducing and high-speed reproducing. Thus, the constitution of the driving circuit can be simplified. |
