<p>Acylated aminoacids of formula (I) are new together with their salts (where R is OH or alkoxy, R' is H. alkanoyl or guanidino, R2 is H or (phenyl) alkyl; R3 is H, alkanoyl, benzoyl or the group A is H, or (hydroxy) alkyl, B is H, phenyl (phenyl)alkyl hydroxyalkyl, hydroxyphenylalkyl, aminoalkyl, guanidinoalkyl, imidazolylalkyl indolylalkyl, mercaptoalkyl, alkylthioalkyl, carbamoylalkyl or carboxyalkyl; or A and B together form a -(CH2)p- bridge, opt. substd. by OH, m is 0,1,2,3 or 4, n is 0 or 1 >=1 of m and n is not O; and p is 3 or 4). Used as inhibitors for conversion of angiotensin I into angiotensin II, for use in treating hypertension due to angiotensin.</p> |
