PURPOSE:To provide a polypropylene resin compsn. suitable for use in press- through package and having excellent transparency, thermoformability and safety, by incorporating a hydrogenated petroleum resin and fine silica powder in a polypropylene resin. CONSTITUTION:3-20pts.wt. hydrogenated petroleum resin and 0.05-1pt.wt. fine silica powder are added to 100pts.wt. polypropylene resin. Examples of the polypropylene resins are polypropylene homopolymers and random copolymers of propylene with alpha-olefins such as ethylene and butene-1, among which copolymers having a melt flow index of 1-4 as measured according to JIS K7210, method of condition 14 and homopolymers are preferred from the viewpoints of well- balanced properties betwen transparency and moldability. Fine silica powder having an average particle size of 5mu or below as measured by the setting method according to JIS Z8901 is preferred. |
