<p>NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I [R<1> is H or lower alkyl; R<3> is carboxy or -COO<->; R<2> is acetoxy or (1-methyl-1H-tetrazol-5-yl)thio when R<3> is carboxy, and formula II (Y is H, hydroxymethyl or carbamoyl) when R<3> is -COO<->; n is 2 or 3] or a salt thereof. EXAMPLE:7beta-{( z )-2-( 2-Aminothiazolyl-4-ly )-2-[ ( 2-pyrrolidon-3-yl )oxyimino] acetamido}-3-(1-pyridiniomethyl)-3-cephem-4-carboxylate. USE:A remedy for various infections diseases, chemotherapeutic agent for mammals and nutriment supply agent for feeds. PREPARATION:A compound expressed by formula III (R<4> is a protecting group) or a reactive derivative thereof is condensed with a compound expressed by formula IV (R<5> is carboxy or -COO<->) or a salt thereof to eliminate the protecting group and afford thr aimed compound expressed by formula I or salt thereof.</p> |
