PURPOSE:To absorb cambers of amorphous ribbons by unifying the directions of the cambers of the amorphous ribbons on the respective one sides in such a way that the projecting parts of the cambers face each other in the intermediate part and laminating the ribbons. CONSTITUTION:An I core 2 and a C core 3 are manufactured by a known method, then thin sheets of glass rods are inserted into the groove part of the core 3 by as much as the prescribed amt. Amorphous ribbons 1 are thereafter laminated successively with the projecting parts of the cambers faced upward in such a way that the roll side of the ribbon and the counter roll side of the next ribbon 1 face each other. The direction is changed in the central part of the laminated layers and the ribbons with the projecting parts of the cambers faced downward are laminated. A prescribed pressure is exerted by a jig to the core 3 and the assembly is heated in an electric furnace or the like to melt the thin glass sheets or glass rods, thereby welding the ribbons 1 and protecting materials, i.e., the core 3 and the core 2. The assembling is then cut by a known method or the like, by which the magnetic head core is obtd. |
