PURPOSE:To prevent a control substrate from deformation due to external force by arranging a reinforcing leg between a chassis and the control substrate. CONSTITUTION:A carriage 14 and a head arm 17 are moved along concentrical recording bands formed on a magnetic disc 4 through a steel belt fitted to a pulley 20 of a stepping motor 19. The control substrate is held by a projection part formed on a front panel and fixed to a fitting boss formed on the chassis 1 with a screw. To prevent the substrate 22 from deformation due to external force, the reinforcing leg 26 is adhered to the substrate 22 with adhesives and the reinforcing leg 26 is received by the side part 27 of the chassis 1. A groove 28 for positioning the leg 26 is formed on the substrate 22 and the projection 29 of the leg 26 is engaged with the groove 28.
