PURPOSE:To prevent a developer from clogging, and the inside of a copying machine from being contaminated by the developer, by forming a carrying means by a revolving shaft rotated by a driving source, and a spiral blade projected to the outside circumferential part of this revolving shaft. CONSTITUTION:A cleaning device of an electronic copying machine is provided with a carrying means 9 for carrying out a developer scraped down by a cleaning blade 8 to the outside of a housing 7. Also, this carrying means 9 has a revolving shaft 9a rotated by a driving source, and a blade 9b is provided spirally on the outside circumference of this revolving shaft 9a. Also, a pitch of the blade 9b is set so that a pitch P1 of the upstream side is small, and becomes larger gradually toward the downstream side, with respect to a carrying direction (b) of a developer. In this way, such failures as the developer clogs in the downstream side of the carrying means, and the developer scatters and contaminates each part of the copying machine can be prevented. |
