PURPOSE:To mass-produce a resin molded item, by molding a plurality of production molds using a single master. CONSTITUTION:The pressure in a hollow chamber 3 of a master 1 is reduced by suction, and a thermoplastic synthetic resin molding film 8 that has been heated to be softened is placed on the top surface of the master 1. A frame 6 is placed on the master 1 on which the molding film 8 is firmly placed, the space formed by the frame 6 and the molding film 8 is filled with a particular material 10 and a screening film 9 is placed thereon. When the pressure in the space containing the particular material 10 is reduced, the particular material 10 is compacted by the atmospheric pressure thereby forming a production mold P. The production mold P is turned, then layers of a hardening agent-containing liquid resin 11 and a fiber reinforcement 12 are alternatively superposed on the upper surface thereof in position until a prescribed thickness is obtained, and they are pressed so that the layers of the fiber reinforcement 12 comes in firm contact with the production mold P. Then the molding film 8 is peeled off from the molded item, and burrs and the like are removed therefrom to give a resin molded item containing the fiber reinforcement 12.
