PURPOSE:To facilitate the subsequent data arrangement, by a method wherein a paper feed compensation signal is read from a memory part on the basis of a message signal outputted from a host computer when starting or finishing a data-outputting operation, and is fed to a perforator to perforate a recording paper at a predetermined position of the paper. CONSTITUTION:When the message signal for a data-outputting operation is outputted from the host computer 1, a central processing part 6 reads the paper feed compensation signal from the memory part 10 in response to the message signal, and outputs the read signal to the perforator 6. Followingly, data to be processed are outputted from the computer 1 to the processing part 6. When the period of outputting the paper feed compensation signal expires during printing, the perforator 32 is operated to perforate the recording paper 14 after the paper 14 is fed by a predetermined amount. Next, when a message signal indicating the completion of the data-outputting operation is outputted from the computer 1 to a printer 2, the processing part 6 sends the paper feed compensation signal to the perforator 32, and outputs the signal to a paper-feeding motor 30 as a motor-driving signal. The recording paper 14 is perforated after it is fed by the predetermined amount. |
