PURPOSE:To attain the independent connection and disconnection of a trnasmitter for each channel by using a channel control instruction using a token to perform connection and disconnection to each divided channel of a communication medium by the transmitter. CONSTITUTION:A transmission line 1 is divided into plural channels CH, and plural transmitters 2 are connected to these divided channels. A transmission/reception control part 6 of the transmitter monitors whether a token sent from the line 1 is addressed to own device or not. When the address of the token is equal to the set value of an address setting part 5, a control part 7 confirms the coincidence between the CH to which the token is sent and the CH number in the token and then checks a CH table 9a in a memory 9. When the control command of the following frame code is equal to a CH connection command, the corresponding CH of the table 9a is set under a connection mode to produce a connection declaration token. This token is sent to the corresponding CH of the line 1. A command code of the frame code is equal to a separation command code, a CH separation declaration token is produced and sent to the corresponding CH of the line 1. |
