PURPOSE:To improve the selection efficiency with a device which selects plural functions with a single key by providing a means to select a group of functions with each push of keys sorted into plural groups according to the pushing time width of the keys. CONSTITUTION:When a power supply is applied, a function A is selected and stored to a memory 23. Then this function A is displayed at a display part 27. An interruption is produced to a CPU21 when a key 12 is pushed. At the same time, the measurement of time is started. When the pushing time (t) of the key 12 is equal to or shorter than T, other functions B and A of the same group X are selected cyclically. If the time (t) is longer than T, the signal state of a group designating register is inverted to start selection of functions C and D within another group Y. Under such conditions, the functions C and D are syclically selected if the time (t) is shorter than T. In such a way, many functions can be selected just with a single key.
