PURPOSE:To decrease efficiently quantitative errors of a component to be inspected due to the turbidity of a liquid to be measured by calculating the increased absorbance part due to the turbidity in the measuring liquid based on the scattering degree of measuring light, and correcting the absorbance by the calculated value to analyze quantitatively a specified component. CONSTITUTION:In measuring the absorbance of the measuring liquid between a light source 2 and a photodetector 3 to display it on a displaying part 9, the increased part of the absorbance due to the turbidity of the liquid 4 is calculated by the first arithmetic part 7 based on the absorbance output difference between calculated values obtained when the slit 5 between the liquid 4 and the detector 3 is set and removed, and the absorbance is corrected by the second arithmetic part 8 basing on the output. Further, the sample is picked up by a sample pipetter 19 to dispense it into a reaction vessel 41, the first and second reaction liquids 17, 18 are added to the vessel 41 at the first and second reaction liquid dispensing positions 42, 43, and said vessel is transferred up to the photometric position corresponding to the liquid 4. |
