PURPOSE:To control the time width of applied pulses in response to the temperature of a thermal head on the starting of recording by driving the thermal head in the time width of applied pulses determined from the result of measurement of a temperature measuring control means by using a memory means. CONSTITUTION:A CPU21 transmits a predetermined address over an address bus 24 on the starting of recording. A decoder 28 decodes the address, and transmits trigger pulses 34 over a pulse generator 29. One-shot multivibrator 36 generates pulses 41 at time (t). Time (t) changes by the temperature of a substrate for a thermal head or a thermistor 39 fitted around the substrate. When a gate 31 is opened, pulses 41 are transmitted over a data bus 25. When the CPU21 completely measures time (t), the time width of applied pulses of the thermal head 26 is read from a ROM22 while using the measuring value of a counter as an address information depending upon a temperature, and written to a RAM27. The thermal head 26 is driven in succession from the first line under the state. |
