PURPOSE:To illuminate even a place where the danger of explosion, ignition, etc., occurs possibly by installing the light source of a lighting device at a distant place where there is no danger of explosion, etc., and guiding light from the light source to the distant place through an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:The light 2 projected from the light source 1 is converged through lenses 3 and 4 and entered the incidence terminal 6 of the optical fiber 5 fitted to the shaft part 9 of a spool 8 through a coupling part 11 which can couples with the optical fiber 5. This light is guided to necessary length through the optical fiber 5 wound around the spool 8. Then, the light is projected as illumination light 2' from the projection end 7 of the optical fiber 7. |
