PURPOSE:To eliminate the improper roll of a leading end printing by holding squeegees of screens at an inoperative position when the cloth end portion arrives at the screens. CONSTITUTION:When the end portion of a cloth 1 passes detecting means 6, a detection signal is transmitted to a controller 7 by the displacement of a roller 6a. A controller 7 starts counting of pulses corresponding to the unit feeding length of the cloth emitted from a pulse generator 10. The controller 7 stores the value of the number of pulses corresponding to distances La-Ld of feeding route of the cloth from the means 6 to screens 4a-4d. When the number of pulses inputted from the means 6 coincides with the pulse value corresponding to the screens, the controller 7 assigns switching solenoid valves 11a-11d of the screens to alter squeegees 5a-5d from the operating position to the inoperating position and passes without printing the cloth leading end portion. Then, the squeegees are again returned to the operating position to continue normal printing. |
