PURPOSE:To increase a caulking strength by providing a caulking shaft having a projection on the tip, on a pressure device body, and also installing a calling member which slide-contacts to both the caulking shaft and the pressure device body. CONSTITUTION:A calling member 13 having a flange part 12 is fitted into a slide-contact hole 11 provided on a slide part 2 of a pressure device body 3. Also, a caulking shaft 15 having a projection 23 engaged to a rivet inserting hole 22 on the tip is provided so as to slide-contact to a hole 14 of the calling member 13. The projection 23 of the caulking shaft 15 is engaged to the rivet inserting hole 22 of a steel material (d), made to coincide with a rivet (f) and a core of the hole 22, and thereafter, a piston 8 and the body 3 are advanced in the direction of a receiving base 5 by a hydraulic pressure. A sheet metal (e) is pressed through the steel material (d), and the sheet metal (e) is punched by the rivet (f). Subsequently, the caulking shaft 15 is pressed directly against the body 3 and caulking is executed, a punched refuse is discharged to the outside of a duct, and also an increase of a caulking strength and an improvement of an operability can be executed.
