PURPOSE:To detect beforehand the fatigue rupture of an FRP part by detecting the disconnection of filaments made of carbon arranged at the inner part or the surface of the FRP member. CONSTITUTION:At the upper surface part of the FRP leaf spring S reinforced by glass fiber, plural carbon filaments 3 of which the presence and absence of the wire disconnection is inspected by electricity conducting inspection are arranged in one body and independently. If the spring S receives repeated loads from car body and accelerator, the filaments 3 are broken. A resistance meter 7 detects the disconnection of a prescribed number or more of filaments 3, and the fatigue limit of the spring is detected. |
