PURPOSE:To obtain a black or gray dye image in the stage of contg. no water by disposing silver halide, binder and specific compd. forming a mobile dye when heated on a base. CONSTITUTION:A layer consisting of silver halide, binder and compd. which forms or releases a mobile dye in accordance or in inverse accordance with the reaction of the silver halide when the silver halide is reduced to silver by heating is provided on a base thereby manufacturing a photosensitive material. The color of the image formed when the mobile dye radiated by exposing and heating is fixed to a dye fixing layer in this case, expressed in terms of a*, b* determined from the tristiumulus values in the 10 deg. field XYZ system according to the method specified in JIS Z 8729 under the standard light regulated by JIZ Z 8720, is maintained within the range of a*=10-18 and b*=10-18. |
