COMMUNICATION SYSTEM HAVING AURAL OPERATION GUIDE FUNCTION

PURPOSE:To perform accurately a desired operation by providing an aural guide function into an exchange device. CONSTITUTION:The sentences, paragraphs and words which are needed for aural guide are stored in the sound information file 5 in the form of sound parameters. A central controller 6 reads the sound parameters of desired sentences, paragraphs and words out of the file 5 according to an operation request and the information on confirmation of operations to a user. Then the controller 6 edits the guide sentences to the user and transfers them to an aural guide trunk 7. The voices are synthesized from the sound parameters at the trunk 7 and given to the user. Thus it is possible for a user to use a communication system more effectively and more conveniently even though he/she does not know how to operate the system previously.
