摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce dimensions and save weight of the apparatus, eliminating use of liquefied nitrogen and facilitating maintenance, by keeping the inside container at lower temperature than the outside one with an electronic cooler applying the Peltier effect and raising cooling efficiency of a radiant ray detecting element. CONSTITUTION:As an inside container 31 is kept colder by approximately a few ten degrees than an outside container kept vacuum inside with outside electronic cooler 30 and inside electronic coolers 33a-33f applying the Peltier effect respectively, heat quantity transmitted to a radiant ray detecting element 35 becomes extremely limited. A pressurizing O-ring 32 improves thermal contact of the cooler 30 and the bottom plate 23 and as heat transfer from the plate 23 to the inside container 31 is prevented with the O-ring 32, cooling efficiency of the detecting element 35 is raised the more. Consequently, cooling by liquefied nitrogen becomes unnecessary and maintenance easier and the apparatus reduced in dimensions and lighter in weight.
