PURPOSE:To supply a viscous stock material without pulsating the same, by providing a curved fixed blade internally contacted with a rotary drum having a large number of holes on the circumferential periphery thereof and extruding the stock material in the rotary drum from the above stated holes. CONSTITUTION:A rotary drum 1 having a large number of holes on the circumferential periphery thereof is provided in a fixed drum 7 and a curved fixed blade 2 used in extrusion internally contacted with the bottom part of said drum 1 is provided. The viscous stock material 10 in the drum is pressed by the operation of a cylinder 3 through a press plate 4 while the drum 1 is rotated by a drive motor 8 through a gear 9 and lumps of the stock material 10 are closely contacted and uniformized to push said stock material 10 into the gaps between the fixed blade 2 and the drum 1. By this mechanism, the stock material 10 is extruded from the above stated holes 11 in a rod form while the rod shaped extrudate is cut by a cutter 6 to be supplied to the hopper of a molding machine (not shown by the drawing). Further, the distance H between the press plate 4 and the fixed blade 11 is detected by a cylinder position detection sensor 5 to control the rotation number of the rotary drum 1 and quantitative supply is enabled regardless of the residual amount of the stock material 10 in the drum. |
