PURPOSE:To clean and remove a product rooted to the titled heat exchanger without damaging corrosion proof coating, by making pressure feed of a large number of hitting balls whose diameter is smaller than the inside diameter of a heat transfer tube and then a larger number of washing balls whose diameter is larger than the inner diameter of the heat transfer tube along with cooling water. CONSTITUTION:A large number of hitting balls such as hitting sponge balls, whose diameter is smaller than the inside diameter of a heat transfer tube 9b, is fed with pressure along with cooling water within 24hr necessary for rooting a product in sea water and the products rooting to inside walls of an inlet and outlet water chambers 9a, 9c whose flow velocity of water is lower than that of the heat transfer tube 9b are peeled and removed through hitting, in a heat exchanger for which the sea water is used as the cooling water. With this construction, there is no possibility of peeling-off of a corrosionproof coating applied to the inside of the heat transfer tube 9b. Then a large number of washing balls 14 such as washing sponge balls, whose diameter is larger than the inside diameter of the heat transfer tube 9b, is fed with pressure along with the cooling water, for example, at the rate of once in several weeks and dirt on the inside wall surface of the heat exchanger 9 based on the fur is washed. |
