PURPOSE:To detect a dragging anchor in rough weather and confirm accurately the dragging anchor distance, by detecting a signal from an oscillator attached to the anchor with a detector placed in the neighborhood of the anchor and transmitting information related to the position between them to a ship. CONSTITUTION:A signal from a signal generating apparatus 4 attached to an anchor 3 is received by a detector 5 located tentatively in the neighborhood of the anchor 3, distance and angle between the apparatuses 4, 5 are detected and its signal 9 is transmitted to receiver 6 inside a ship. By this arrangement, even in rough weather, an absolute position of the anchor 3 can be detected instantaneously inside the ship and by repeating the measurements, possible dragging anchor and dragging anchor distance can be confirmed. |
