PURPOSE:To prevent contamination and corrosion of the inner wall of a container by providing a dripping slope and a water intrusion prevention plate. CONSTITUTION:When the inner wall of a container 13 is cooled during the cooling mode operation, the warm room air contacts and is condensed on it to form water droplets. Falling water droplets flows on the inclined surface of a water droplets guide slope 14 to be discharged from a water discharge clearance 16 to the outside. The outside air containing moisture or precipitation is prevented by a packing 9. However, when water gets inside for one reason or another, it is prevented from intruding farther by a water intrusion prevention plate 15 which is attached inside. Water formed inside an air conditioner 8 is drained from a drain hose 17. In this manner, the precipitation is prevented from intruding, and so, the corrosion of the wall etc. can be prevented, and in addition, the characteristics of a room unit can be maintained. |
