PURPOSE:To make a measuring operation performable so easily in an accurate manner even if a pulse signal is given out of a sensor corresponding to the number of pulser's detected parts, by designing a timing light so as to emit light once per turn. CONSTITUTION:A pump 26 and a fuel injection timing controller 20 both are set to a pump tester 60, while a timing sensor 48 installed in the pump 26 or an N.T.D.C sensor 47 is connected to a connector 67a of a contrller 67. And, the controller 67, a timing checker 77 and the pump tester 60 are all connected to a power source, and each switch of pulse number designating devices in number commensurate to the number of pulse projections of the controller 20 is turned to ON, thereby designating the pulse number. A detection signal (one pulse signal per turn in the pulser) being emitted each time the pulser projection is opposed to the sensor 47 or 48 is inputted into the timing checker 27 whereby a timing light 78 emit light, irrediating peripheral graduations on a fly-wheel 65. With constitution, a degree of timing control or the like is measured with movements of timing graduations. |
