<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the accuracy of the positioning of a transfer means between a plurality of machines and a multistage stocker, by identifying a stocker with the use of an identifying sensor so that the transfer means is moved to a predetermined sensor, and thereafter is positioned in accordance with positioning data. CONSTITUTION:A lift operating instruction signal LDC specifies a desired work stocker 2 in accordance with an identification number IDS on a stocker 3 to which a transfer lift is required to be moved, and a individual number WN on a work stocker 2. With this arrangement a signal S1 is delivered to a stocker position register 23 each time when a sensor 6C detects a stocker identifying sensor 15, to serach the position of the lift 6 which is therefore moved to the desired stocker. Then, a lift operation control section 21 reads out position date SDA on the desired work stocker 2 from a stocker position memory 21, and instructs through a moving amount computing circuit 25, the movement of the lift 6 for positioning the same to control a lift 27 and a table 31 by means of a motor 26. Accordingly, the accuracy of positioning may be enhanced.</p> |
