A beam for tape dyeing is shaped like a cylinder, in both sides of which winders (4,4') shaped like tapers are made. Many small holes (5) are formed on the surface of the taper winders. The distribution density of the small holes and/or the hole areas are decreased in the direction of the larger-diameter taper winders. The edge line of the taper winder has an angle of 20-30 deg. with a rotating axis.
