Hydraulic flushing device permitting the sequential discharge of a large volume of a liquid, laden or otherwise; from a container in which the feed flow rate remains independent and which can permit the storage of liquid or of solid inside the container without contamination to the discharge. These arrangements can be ensured hermetically with regard to the gases present in the receptacle. It consists of a bell 3 connected to a gas escape pipe 5 shut off automatically at 6 and hydraulically by immersion by the liquid conveyed, of an extraction pipe 4 whose entry is situated in the bell 3 and whose exit is at the base of the shell 10, itself coupled to the gravity exit 7, the shell 10 acting as overflow, the shell 8 and the wall 9 acting as separating members between the conveyed liquid and possible separable bodies or liquids. The continuity of the shell 10 and the wall 9 can ensure leaktightness to the gases present in the container 1. The device according to the invention is intended chiefly for water treatment (treatment of fats, hydrocarbons and sand removal) to the cleaning of sewer pipes from waste water and to the control of flow rate in water treatment apparatus and systems (underground spreading, feeding a bacteriological filter and increase in the capacities of sedimentation equipment). <IMAGE>
