Device for displaying the contamination of an air filter on an engine with a housing (1), which has two chambers (19, 20) separated by a diaphragm (10), of which the one chamber is connected to the vacuum of the intake pipe of the internal combustion engine, an electrical signal circuit (23) being closable by a U-shaped leaf spring (11), actuated by the diaphragm (10) in the event of adequate vacuum (Fig. 1).
