The invention relates to a hose connection having at least one hose connecting piece onto which the hose (which preferably consists of hard plastic) is plugged. One or more sealing and retaining beads, which run in the circumferential direction and are profiled such that their cross-section is like a saw tooth or has a similar profile are fitted on the outside of the hose connecting piece. The hose is fixed firmly on the sealing and retaining beads entirely by virtue of its intrinsic stress. In order to seal the hose against the hose connecting piece in a reliable manner using means which are as simple as possible, there is provided in the region of the plugging-on length at least one additional soft seal, which consists of an O-ring seal composed of rubber-elastic material, which is inserted into a circumferential groove inside the hose connecting piece.
