The invention relates to a method for joining thin-walled metal tubes and, in particular, joining them to form a lattice. A simple connection is possible if supporting bodies are introduced into the light-alloy tubes into the region of the subsequent joints and if the superimposed light-alloy tubes are joined together at their joints by spot welding.
