In order to create a single connector for the entire tube installation system, to be precise both for the mechanical connection of the individual tubes and for their electrically conductive design, it is proposed according to the invention that the expanding jaws (2, 3) of the peg (1) be provided on their external sides with in each case one half of the ring (9) and be constructed like half shells, the recesses (5), through-openings (6) or the like being located in central webs (18) of the expanding jaws (2, 3), and the shells (10) surrounding the peg (1) being designed as quarter-shells. <IMAGE>
