PURPOSE:To prepare roughage suitable for feed, economically, by adding quick lime to sliced bamboo to soften the constituent fibers, and fermenting the fibers with microorganisms. CONSTITUTION:Soft bamboo preferably belonging to Phyllostachys genus is disintegrated in small strings, mixed with quick lime to soften the constituent fibers, and mixed further with the food waste such as the waste of a food factory or the skin and guts, etc. of the animal slaughtered in a slaughter-house to effect the fermentation of the fiber by the microorganisms in the food waste. |
