PURPOSE:To obtain a digital filter with a small chip area by arranging a shift register at the center, arranging a ROM OR circuit consisting each of a multiplier and an adder to both sides of the register and outputting respectively an output of the said register to each side. CONSTITUTION:In applying double rate conversion to a 2-channel PCM digital signal, since the signal is processed efficiently by using multiplexedly 2-channel signals for each even and odd number order of filter, the ROM OR system with the filter is combined on a semiconductor element. The shift register 16 giving a delay to an input signal 14 is arranged on a semiconductor pellet 22 in this case. The multiplier 20 storing a coefficient to be multiplied in a ROM is provided at both sides, the produce of the multiplier 20 is added respectively by the adder 21 and each 2-channel signal is shared into the odd number order and the even number order. An output is obtained by adding the signal by means of a multiplexer 19. |
