PURPOSE:To arrange so that memory information may not have to be changed at the time of changing a daisy wheel by allowing print pressure information of each type to be recorded into the wheel itself, in an electronic typewriter using a daisy wheel. CONSTITUTION:A daisy wheel (type wheel) 1 has type supports 4 on the external circumferential edges of plural spokes 3 and a print pressure information recording part 5 is provided at a spoke 3 whose phase is deviated 180 deg.. If a wheel signal S2 is received from a main CPU12, a wheel CPU14 drives the daisy wheel 1 through a motor 7 and a position detector 16 and sets a desired type at a type position. Next, print pressure information on the type is read from a print pressure information recording part 5 by an optical detector 6 and drives a hammer 8a of an inker 8 seeking an optimal hammer drive time. Thus it is possible to miniaturize storage means such as ROM. |
