An accessory for feeding suspension devices, in the form of straight shafts with an outward-curved handle, to an apparatus for binding packs of perforated sheets makes use of wire comb bindings made from bent wire. The accessory has a magazine for the shafts, which is adjoined by an isolating device for the shafts. Arranged downstream of the isolating device is a bending device for bending the handles, and this is followed by a pusher for introducing the suspension devices into wire comb bindings which are still open and which are situated together with a pack of perforated sheets in a closing apparatus.
