PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts by using a spring for adjusting the position of a steering wheel as a spring for springing-up a steering assy when a driver get-in and -out a car. CONSTITUTION:When a driver gets out a car, a lock member 12 is pulled-out from a locking hole 7c, and then a cam pin 17 is shifted upwardly along an inclined cam 18 by the springy force of a coil spring for springing-up, and also a steering assy is sprung upwardly and set at the highest position. Since, in this case, a movable bracket 7 and a column bracket are fixed by a fastening member 10, the movable bracket 7 is shifted upwardly, integrally with the steering assy, guided by the guide pin 7b and a guide groove 8b. When a driver gets in the car, a steering wheel 1 is pushed down, and then the movable bracket 7 is locked onto a fixed bracket 8, and the steering assy returns to the driving position set before the springing-up. |
