摘要 PURPOSE:To lessen the danger of a tool in contact with a machine or the like by setting a tool moving limit value in matching with the shape of a work and comparing always the limit value and the present position of the machine at manual operation. CONSTITUTION:A command moving a tool of a machine tool is inputted to a mechanical drive means DT by manual operation from a feed manual command means MI so as to move the tool of the machine such as a cutter. In this case, the limit value of said tool to be moved is set by a limit value setting means LS and stored in a limit value storage means LM in advance. When said tool is moved by the manual mode provided to the machine tool side, the present position is stored in a storage means PM. The stored present position is compared always with the limit value stored before by a comparison means CT, and when the present position exceeds the limit value, said machine drive means DT is controlled so that the manual fed is stopped automatically.
