PURPOSE:To improve the movement performance and steering stability by determining the amount of negative feedback according to the difference between the actual behavior of car which is represented by yaw rate or lateral acceleration speed and the aimed behavior of car which is to be generated through steering. CONSTITUTION:When front wheels 2 are steered rightward or a yaw rate is generated in the same direction by an external turbulence in no-steered state, a control circuit 7 operates a servovalve 36 to feed an oil pressure into the right- side sylinder chamber of an actuator 6. Rear wheels 26 are auxiliary steered in the same direction to that of the front wheels 2 or in the direction for offsetting the yaw rate generated by the external turbulence in no-steered state. When the steering input is zero, 100% feedback is applied, and the prescribed feedback is applied in steering, and the auxiliary steering is performed as prescribed previously, and the variation of the behavior of a car due to the external turbulence is perfectly eliminated in no-steered state. |
