PURPOSE:To achieve parallel motion of knob while to reduce the damper space by fitting an auxiliary section pin of foldable damper in a case guide groove while fitting a knob inserted with a control lever provided at the main section slidably in an elongated hole of panel. CONSTITUTION:Upon manual operation of knob 15 to operate a control lever 10 thus to rotate a damper 8, the auxiliary portion 8c of damper 8 will exhibit motion limited by the shape of guide groove 12 because the pin 8b at that portion 8c is fitted in the guide groove 12 of case 7. Said portion 8c will be folded gradually at the hinge section 8a against main portion 8d of damper 8 and finally brought to such state as shown by dot and dash line to close the path 11 completely. Upon up/down motion of the knob section 15b, the lever 10 will rotate around the shaft 9 of damper 8 thus to drive the damper 8 formed integrally with the lever 10. Consequently, the knob section 15b can perform parallel motion such that the projection from the control panel 13 will not vary.
