PURPOSE:To decrease the number of facsimiles to be installed and the occupied area and also to improve the operating efficiency of a facsimile equipment by outputting sequentially the reception information incoming from plural lines after it is stored once in a storage device. CONSTITUTION:When a signal is received from unspecified plural parties from plural line adaptor sections 2, a control unit 3 checks idle picture information storage section 4, judges the presence of an incoming call when the idle section exists and receives a picture signal. Then the reception information from each opposite party is stored once in the picture information storage section and when the information stored at the same time exists, it is outputted sequentially from a picture output section 1. The storage information outputted completely is erased from the storage section 4 and its location is used for the storage of the received information again. When the storage section 4 is occupied, the reception is disabled even with an incoming call and the information representing it is returned.
